PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The main objective of this project is to design a spy robot by using RF technology and attaching it with a wireless camera for monitoring purpose, and to make it work like a secret agent in the war fields. The robot along with the camera with night vision capabilities can wirelessly transmit real-time video.

An RF transmitter is connected to the transmitter end with the help of an encoder device. The push buttons are connected to the microcontroller as input switches.  The commands are sent from the push buttons to the receiver to control the movement of the robot, which is in either forward, backward, left or right directions.

An RF receiver is connected to the receiver end with the help of a decoder device. Two motors are interfaced to the microcontroller through a motor driver IC, wherein they are used to change the directions of the vehicle. A group of IR LEDS connected in series are interfaced to the microcontroller in order to make the path visible during night time.

 The robot is controlled by an RF remote wherein the commands are sent by the transmitter –and, based on these commands –the receiver controls the directions of the robot. A wireless camera is mounted on the robot body for spying purpose even in complete darkness by using infrared lighting.

The project in future can be implemented by using DTMF technology. By using this technology, we can control the robotic vehicle by using a cell phone. This technology has an advantage over long communication range as compared to the RF technology.
