PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The main concept of this project is to develop a circuit to block the emerging signals from the TV remote by producing pulses from the IR sensor connected to this circuit.

The proposed system uses a battery for power supply and a timer for generating clock pulses. The IR sensor is interfaced to the timer with the help of a transistor for transmitting the IR rays.

Whenever the power supply is given to the circuit, the timer generates high-power pulses which are given to the IR sensor to produce the IR rays in the range of 38 KHz. These rays disable the IR rays coming out from the TV remote as a result of pressing any number on it.Thus, the T.V is not able to respond to the required pulses from the T.V remote to take any action such as channel change, volume up, down, etc.

The future scope of this project can be implemented by using a powerful IR diode such that it can be operated from a long distance.
