PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The main intention of this project is to control home appliances with pre-defined time intervals that are based on a 555timer, which switches ON or OFF a load using a relay.

This project is designed with a 555 timer and operates in monostable mode. Whenever the 555 timer is triggered with a push button connected to the circuit, then the 555 timer delivers high-logic pulses with a fixed-time interval.

This output drives the relay to switch ON the load for that duration after which the load turns OFF automatically. The time can be adjusted from 0 or  up to a few seconds by a potentio-meter.
