PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The main concept of this project is to control the directions of a robot remotely by using an Android application.

The proposed system uses a microcontroller of the 8051 family and a battery for power supply. In this system, a Bluetooth device is connected to the microcontroller for receiving the control signals from remote. The motors are controlled by the motor driver IC based on the commands from the microcontroller.

The robot is controlled through an Android application device wherein a user can enter the commands to the Android application on the GUI, from where the commands are sent to the pre-programmed microcontroller through a Bluetooth where the received data is compared to the stored data. If it matches the corresponding signals, then the microcontroller controls the robot in all directions such as forward, backward, left, and right, etc., based on the input commands.
